Our Firm has advised on various energy, mining and telecommunications transactions including undertaking negotiations of a public private partnership projection, acquisition of mining companies, structuring of such acquisitions and undertaking transfer of mining rights, drafting and/or review of hospitality Agreements, general advice on setting up of operations including the setting up of operations of oil and gas, mining and telecommunications companies including licenses, consents and authorizations required, drafting deeds of novation of Production Sharing Agreements and Joint Operating Agreements and providing general advice to the energy, mining and petroleum sectors as well as obtaining requisite licenses and setting up of energy and oil and gas corporations in Tanzania. We also advice on downstream and upstream regulatory requirements in terms of local content and code of conduct of stakeholders and investors in the energy and petroleum sector.
